Believe it or not.

Sooooo, I kinda gave up planting green beans.

• They never did well in the hot St. George heat;
• I hated PICKING in the hot St. George heat;
• They took up space I wanted to use for other vegetables...

HOWEVER, with a little extra space in the Community Garden, it was the perfect place to experiment with a FALL PLANTING of green beans.

Oh my goodness sakes alive!!! We have a bumper crop!! Those little green things, are big, beautiful green beans, not scrawny dried up things!! It's wonderful!!! And we have TWO BEDS that are 50' long, EACH!! Please let us know if you want to help in the garden! 673-6733
